How LaneHook works

From a rate confirmation to a paid invoice, in the order it happens.

  1. Check the broker
Type the MC number into Load Guard. You see authority age, insurance and warnings before you say yes.
  2. Add the load
Scan the rate confirmation or type it in. LaneHook fills in the broker, rate, miles and stops for you to confirm.
  3. Run the load
Update status as you go. If a dispatcher is linked, they see it right away and you can chat inside the load.
  4. Time the dock
Start the detention timer on arrival. LaneHook counts billable time against your free time and writes the claim.
  5. Scan the paperwork
Photograph the BOL and receipts, page by page, and send one PDF to the broker.
  6. Invoice and track pay
Send the invoice, and get reminders until it is paid. Expenses and fuel feed your reports.
  7. See the numbers
Weekly, monthly and yearly income, expenses and net, plus a summary for tax time.
Example Waited 4.5 hours with 2 hours free at $65 an hour. Billable 2.5 hours. Detention owed $162.50. Try your own numbers in the detention calculator.
