Privacy Policy

Effective October 11, 2026

This policy explains what LaneHook collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We keep it plain on purpose. We do not sell your data.

LaneHook is operated by Vision Make Studio in New Jersey, United States ("LaneHook", "we", "us"). Contact: info@visionmakestudio.com.

1. What we collect

Account information. Your email address, when you signed up, your plan and subscription status.

What you put into LaneHook. Loads, rates, pickup and delivery details, broker and customer names, expenses, invoices, documents and photos you upload (such as insurance, registration or proof of delivery), mileage, notes, and your business details such as company name and MC or DOT number.

Company information. If you use the Dispatcher Portal or join a company, we store the company name, its code, who its members are, and the loads a dispatcher sends to a driver along with their status. We also store the messages you send in the chat between a dispatcher and a driver, and any loads a driver chooses to share with their dispatcher.

Location, only if you allow it. Features such as mileage and detention timing can ask your device for your location. Your device asks for permission first, and you can turn it off in your device or browser settings.

Check-ins (Fleet plan). If your dispatcher is on the Fleet plan, the Driver Portal shows a Check in button. When you tap it, and only then, your device sends your location one time, rounded to about 10 meters, along with an optional note and ETA. LaneHook does not track your location in the background and does not collect it when you have not tapped the button.

Camera and files, only if you allow it. If you take a photo or choose a file to scan or save, we use it for that purpose.

Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your email, plan, subscription status, and payment amounts and dates. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Usage and device information. Basic information such as pages visited, browser type, device type and approximate region, collected through Google Analytics on our website and sign-in screens, and standard server logs. We also count events such as a new sign-up or a started trial. These counts never include your email address or the contents of your loads, documents or messages.

2. How we use it

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with the services that help us run LaneHook, and only what they need:

Dispatchers and drivers. If you join a company, the dispatcher can see your email, the loads they assigned to you and each load's status. Your other loads and documents are not shared with them. If you are a dispatcher, the drivers in your company can see the company name and the loads you send them.

Check-ins. A check-in you share can be seen only by the dispatcher of the company you belong to, on their Fleet page. We do not share it with anyone else. You can delete all of your check-ins at any time from the Dispatch page in the Driver Portal.

Shared loads and chat. A driver can choose to share a load they booked themselves with their dispatcher. The dispatcher then sees its route, broker, rate, times and status, but never the driver's private notes, and the driver can stop sharing at any time. Chat messages can be read only by the dispatcher and the driver in that conversation. When a driver leaves a company, or a dispatcher removes a driver, that driver's chat and shared loads are deleted.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people or the Service, or if LaneHook is part of a merger or sale (we would tell you first).

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Cookies and local storage

LaneHook stores some information in your browser or device so it can work: your sign-in session, your saved loads and settings so the portal works offline, and your language choice. Google Analytics on our website uses cookies to count visits. You can block cookies in your browser settings. The portals may not work properly without local storage.

5. How long we keep it

Check-ins are deleted automatically after 30 days. We keep your information while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account data within a reasonable time, except for records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons (for example payment records held by Stripe).

6. Your choices

7. Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls so people can only reach their own data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Please protect your email account, since it is how you sign in.

8. Children

LaneHook is for adults who work in or run trucking businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. International use

LaneHook is run from the United States, and our providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries. If you use LaneHook from elsewhere, your information will be transferred there.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date at the top, and for important changes we will tell you in the portal or by email.
